Who is responsible for your information?

Information we use
When you browse, the website and its hosting services may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser details and access times to deliver and protect the service. [Confirm hosting provider, log contents and retention period.]
If you contact us or suggest an article, we may use the details you provide, including your name, contact information, business details and correspondence, to respond and consider your proposal. The current development site has no active enquiry form. Newsletter signup is also not yet connected.
Contributor articles may include an agreed public byline, biography and business link. Publication arrangements and what information will be displayed should be agreed with each contributor.
Why we use information
Our proposed purposes are operating and securing the website, responding to enquiries and managing editorial contributions. Legitimate interests may be appropriate for these activities, subject to assessment. Where we take steps at your request towards an agreement, or perform an agreement with you, contract may apply. Legal obligations may require particular records to be retained. [Confirm the lawful basis for each activity before launch.]
If newsletter signup is enabled, we will explain the information collected, the email service used and how to unsubscribe at signup. It is not currently collecting subscriptions.
Services and recipients
The website currently loads Bootstrap assets from jsDelivr. Article profile images can load from Gravatar. Requests to external providers can disclose technical connection information to them. Social sharing links open the selected provider when clicked; this website does not embed their sharing scripts.
[Confirm production hosting, email, security, form-storage and newsletter providers; recipients, processing locations and any international-transfer safeguards.] Contact Form 7 and Flamingo are installed, but the current Contact page does not present an enquiry form. Recheck storage and retention before enabling one.
How long information is kept
[Set and insert retention periods for enquiries, contributor correspondence, published author details, server logs, subscriber records and backups.] Periods should reflect the purpose, applicable obligations and deletion arrangements with service providers.
